How does it Work?
1- Order: Complete the payment.
2- Upload your infomation: In our client area you will be able to upload the required information and documentation.
3- Power of Attorney: Based on the provided information, we will prepare the power of attorney documents to open the bank account on your behalf for you to sign.
4- Get your Bank Account: After you sign the power of attorney documents, we will open the bank account in your behalf. When the process is finished you will have access to homebanking and to debit and credit cards.

What documents are needed?
- Passport:
- Needs to be at least 3 months away from its expiration date.
- The notarization of the document is included in the final price.
- Proof of Address:
- Less than 12 months old and emited from an official authority or service provider.
- Portuguese Taxpayer Number (NIF)
- We can get it for you.
- Also serves as proof of address in a foreign country.
- Taxpayer Card from Your Home Country
- Or any equivalent document.
- Employment Status Proof
- Job contract or service providing contract and payslips/invoices.
- If you do not work, any document that shows any income you might have.
- Power of Attorney:
- We will prepare the document and also get it notarized for you.
Please note that the bank might ask for more documents.

How long does it take?
The account should be open in 1 to 2 weeks.
Please note that some accounts may be referred to the compliance department for further analysis, which can delay the process. In such cases, the account will be open but not fully active until final clearance is received from the bank’s compliance department.

What are the fees and minimum deposit?
- The monthly fee is around 10 euros.
- The minimum deposit is 250 euros.
