Requirements to obtain the Portuguese enterpreneur visa

In order to get the Portuguese Entrepreneur Visa, one must:
  • One of the following options:
    • Certificate of incorporation of a company
    • Service Provision Contract or Service Provision Promissory Contract.
    • Proof that you have done or intend to perform an investment operation in Portugal
  • Subsistency means:
    • To demonstrate your financial means of subsistence, you are required to transfer to a Portuguese bank account an amount equal to or exceeding the annual minimum wage in Portugal, which is currently set at €820 per month. Additionally, an extra 50% for a spouse and 30% for each dependent should be included
  • To have a NIF (Portuguese Taxpayer Number)
  • To have a NISS (Portuguese Social Security Number)
  • To possess a bank account in Portugal and transfer funds to that account
  • Having a long term rental contract
  • Having full health insurance
  • Having a clean criminal record
